As you can see on the label, coffee milk is the official state drink of Rhode Island. (yes, we have a state drink) It is similar to chocolate or strawberry milk, but with a coffee flavor. Seeing as how I don't really drink coffee anymore, I have been on a coffee milk kick as of late.
Being the smallest state, Rhode Islanders have great pride in their state. Recently I was talking to my friend Ben (who now works in NYC), and he said that he picked up a vintage military issue M-65 jacket at a flea market. Lo and behold, he was looking at one of the buttons and the back read, "Rauf. Co. Prov RI." It turns out that they were a button and buckle company that produced for the military. We love to find a Rhode Island connection and it seems to happen quite a lot.
